CHR and review officer

Review team publishes one report this week

The Review team has published one summarised report this week.

They looked at one complaint after the applicant was arrested, charged, and subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal (PF). The complainer said that officers lied in the report submitted to the PF.

Our Compliant Handling Review (CHR) found that Police Scotland handled the applicant’s complaint to a reasonable standard. However, we identified a Learning Point to ensure that officers are identified in complaint responses.

This should be cascaded to the relevant officer(s) within 56 days of the date of this report.
